Small Stitch Projects
During the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 we were unable to meet so we kept our group going with a series of small stitch projects. Ideas were sent by email and we shared the results the same way. You can see our efforts here.
The first small stitch projects were working with a single stitch e.g. chain stitch, fly stitch, blanket stitch etc.

Still unable to meet in person in early 2021 we continued with our theme of small stitch projects.
This time we have decided to make 2 inch squares using a variety of techniques. This is inspired by a book called “Inchies’ by Peggy Donna-Kobert. We felt a larger square would give us a bit more scope so we now have ‘Twinchies’. So far we have tried Suffolk puffs, flowers, smocking and snowflakes.
